International Students’ Association

The University of Winnipeg Students’ Association (UWSA) has created the International Students’ Association (ISA) to help support International students and to contribute and improve campus life. The ISA provides personal and moral support to all its members.

What do we do?

ISA provides support and information on planning and organizing recreational, political, and cultural events throughout the year. These include:

  • Promote UWSA services
  • Organize and facilitate meetings as necessary with International student volunteers
  • Cooperate and collaborate with international student services, UWSA staff, volunteers, UWSA Board of Directors
  • Provide information to international students about available scholarships and other opportunities on campus

How do we assist you?

  • Coordinate the organization of a relevant event, workshops or campaigns, of interest to you
  • Coordinate excursion around the city
  • Mentor international students on issues related to culture, language, the city, and university life
  • Liaise with other related organizations on and off campus, such as the UW International Student Services Office and the Global Welcome Centre

The ISA exists to ensure that all students at the University of Winnipeg have a rewarding and fulfilling experience.
